Dr. Murphy discusses the current state of the coronavirus, answers questions about testing, and provides information on long Covid. According to the NY Times the US is currently averaging more than 100,000 known cases of Covid per day for the first time since February. According to the NYT, cases are rising in nearly every state. In Maryland and Delaware, for example, cases have increased by 45 percent and 60 percent respectively from the average two weeks ago as of May 26. In Virginia cases are up 40 percent. Does this mean we can expect hospitalizations and deaths to increase as well over the summer? If so, what precautions need to be taken?
